• Account Information: Name, email address, and other details you enter when creating a host or guest account.
• Booking Data: Session details, selected times, and communication preferences between hosts and guests.
• Payment Data: Processed securely through third-party providers such as Stripe. We never store full payment card details.
• Connected Accounts: Information from linked Google accounts (such as calendar events or email) with your consent.
• Device & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and general usage analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, personalize, and improve the Service.
• To manage bookings, sessions, and availability for hosts and guests.
• To communicate with you about updates, support, or account verification.
• To process payments and subscription billing.
• To ensure platform security, detect fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information only as necessary:

• With service providers like Stripe, Google, and Cloudflare for essential functionality.
• With hosts and guests involved in your bookings (only relevant data).
• With law enforcement or authorities when legally required.
• In connection with a business transfer, merger, or acquisition.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and related data at any time.

Skedsy uses cookies and similar technologies to improve performance and user experience. Cookies help remember your session, analyze traffic, and support essential features. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption, secure servers, and limited access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and you use the Service at your own risk.

6a. HIPAA and Protected Health Information

Skedsy is not HIPAA-compliant. The platform is not designed to collect, process, or store protected health information (“PHI”) as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). You should not submit PHI through any Skedsy forms or uploads.

Examples of PHI include medical records, treatment details, diagnoses, or any data that identifies an individual in connection with their health history. General wellness or lifestyle information (such as age, weight range, or personal goals) may be collected for scheduling or intake purposes but is not treated as medical data.

If you are a healthcare provider or other covered entity, you may not use Skedsy to collect or transmit PHI unless a separate written Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is in place with UICODELABS, LLC.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• You can access or update your account information at any time.
• You can disconnect integrated services such as Google Calendar from your settings.
• You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
• You can unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in those emails.

8. Children’s Privacy

Skedsy is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us for removal.

9. International Users

Skedsy is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from another country, you consent to the processing and transfer of your information to the U.S. in accordance with this Policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of Skedsy after changes means you accept the revised policy.
